AFRI/DIENST.

AfriDienst e.V. is a non-profit working with vulnerable communities in sub-Saharan Africa. Its site ran on WordPress + Elementor: slow, hard to translate, and visually a long way from the association's own brand guidelines.
Challenge: Rebuild the site while preserving all existing content — activities, projects, events, news — making it trilingual (FR / DE / EN) and finally applying the brand's midnight blue instead of a generic black.

What it changed.
An identity finally respected
The association's white logo was designed for the brand's midnight blue #02173F. Every dark surface on the site now uses that blue rather than a neutral black: the logo reads correctly, and the identity holds across all pages.
Leaving WordPress behind
Moving from Elementor to Astro removes the plugin layer, the database and the PHP server. The site ships as pre-rendered static pages — faster to load, with nothing left to patch for security.
